Ok, anyone ever build your own case/gig bag? I am trying to make a sort of light-weight case for a couple of Conn cornets. They are short-belled but not shepherd's crook. I really don't want to spend money on the Pro-Tec case (which I like and use with all my other horns), but want to have something a little less expensive that will work.

The replacement type cases don't work because of the unusual configuration of the horns (5A and 76A). Anybody have any ideas?

Bill
