Do you know of any jazz players that use C trumpets? Wouldn't it make is easier for reading piano chords or any other C instrument?

The only one I know for sure is Mike Thompson with the Omaha Jazz Orchestra, although I have heard of others.

If you've got a C trumpet, it's easier for you to use, and you like the sound you get, then just use it. If you play well with it, NOBODY is going to make anything out of it unless you do.

I'm playing a show in early February and I'm using a C trumpet on 2 charts simply because I like the way the keys work for those pieces on C trumpet. On one of them the parts are pretty hard. I really don't think that 10 people inteh entire audience will know the dfference.
