Do you think that you can pass the age and physical requirments to join The RAF ?

I can't pass the physical requirements to join the boy scouts, mush less the RAF!
For some reason I'm on a list that gets notification about trumpet jobs all over the world. I have played more than my share, and made tours in Europe and Canada as well as playing all over the USA, but I have not been looking for a playing gig for 10-years.
This notice was for a great gig so I thought I'd post it on a few boards. If you have ever heard this band -then you know THEY ARE FINE!!! It would be an honor to play with them, even if I am from the USA! _________________ "To be a teacher you need to be as good a performer as you can be: you'll have more to impart to your students musically." - John Haynie

In fact, I have heard them. While in the U.K. about ten years ago, competing in an air rifle world championship match, I was invited by my local hosts to spend an evening at a band concert, which are extremely popular over there. I went and it was the RAF band. As you stated, they were fantastic.
BTW, I placed fourth in the world in that match.
