Hey guys,
I just got an old Bundy cornet thats about 35 yrs old on ebay for 10 bucks. It was a good deal, all it needed was a polishing. I polished it up well and realized that it was raw brass, I've never had a raw brass horn before and when I play it my hands smell like raw brass. Is there anyway to prevent this? Thasnks

I think that the easiest thing you can do is to get a valve gaurd.
