What trumpets are still being made today besides the King Silver Flair that offer a 1st valve trigger instead of the ring or cradle option? I've had several horns with the trigger and tend to prefer that.

I believe that most pro horns can be ordered with a trigger or one can be installed on them at a good shop. On ebay I have seen some Strads with the trigger.

I've seen Strads, Conn Constellations, Getzen Capris, Schilkes, Olds Mendez and others. I've even seen a Conn Constellation on ebay with a 3rd and 1st valve trigger. Most companies will add it..for a small fee. Chris

I had a strad with a trigger that some nice person "borrowed from me on a permanent basis". I never use the trigger after the first week I had it.

Man that was a great horn -- I'd pay market value to who ever stole it to get it back.
