What is in your cd player right now? For me it is "Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson West Side Story." I just bought it 2 hours ago. It is pretty good.

I have a 6-CD Changer, and I have to share it with my wife and daughter so:

Afro Cuban All-Stars: A Toda Cuba Le Gusta
Wayne Bergeron: You Call This Living (My favorite CD)
Jimmy Buffet: A CD I made myself of my favorite Buffet Tunes
Chicago: Chicago 17
Norah Jones: Come Away With Me
The Sountrack to the Movie Sister Act

I listen mostly to Maynard, Arturo, and Al Hirt. I also like techno, funk, and every style of jazz.

I have to change it now. Now it is 'Symphony X -Odyssey' or 'Dream Theater -Scenes from a Memory'. Progressive metal is so cool.

I have a 5 cd changer in my office and I usually have the James Thompson "Buzzing Basics", the "Tuning CD" and 3 different play along CDs for what ever solo I may be working up. Currently I have the Chris Gekker "Winter" cd in while I work on the Eric Ewazen "Hymn for the Lost and the Living>"

At the moment I have one of the c d's by Mariachi Cobre highlighting Esteban Carrillo as lead trumpet in my c d player. He is fantastic. I not only like his tone, but, his technique is perfect. If he was involved in any music other than Mariachi, he would be much better known.
