Bach Mount Vernon N.Y. #7G ?

Hello Cornet Players. I recently won a 1947 King Master in brass. That got under the e-bay radar. Very nice cornet. It came with a #7 and a#7G not C Bach Mount Vernon N.Y. cornet mouthpieces. Has anyone heard of this size older Bach cornet m.p.? It looks similar to a 8C but has a med. shallow cup. It appeared to have been used the most due to plate loss. As the #7 is like new. One other question. These Older Bach's fit this King Master snug. But the newer ones including the Bach Corp ones have a little wiggle in the reciever. The sound quality sounds about the same to me. Where there some minor changes on the newer Bachs Barrell taper? Not wishing to brag. But I just won that other E-bay King Master restored by " Byron Autrey". Are so they say. Payed a good price though. If it is in the conditon stated. I will be happy with the deal. That will wrap me up with my cornet buying. Unless a very nice Reynolds Contempora or Argenta in med. bore cornet pops up on e-bay. Thanks for any thoughts or comments. Thought I would call Curry and see if he wants to make a copy if it is a rare one. Try to save for a future player who wants a lead cornet m.p. in the older Bach version. I myself will be looking for a 3C M.V. N.Y. cornet mouthpiece also. Unless Curry has already made the duplicate and they are available.
