Schilkes by far have the bast valves of any horn I've played. Getzen comes 2nd and has great response with valves. Aren't Getzen valves nickel plated? I think Getzen even makes valves for Monette.

Getzens valves are indeed nickel-plated and yes they do make valves for Monette but they're Monel.
