I was serious about playing the trumpet forty some years ago, (I even was a card carrying member of local 10 in Chicago), when I realized that if I wanted to eat regularly I had better get a real job. Now that I'm retired and bored, I've decided to start playing again. Presently I'm playing on an old English Besson cornet that was manufactured in the 1890's that is in serious need of restoration. I'm either going to have that horn fixed up or get a new one as soon as I can convince the banker, (my wife), that a cornet should take precedence over getting the plumbing fixed.

David,
Great idea. We need a new p-trap on the bathroom sink. Maybe I can convince her that the latest p-traps look like a Getzen Eterna cornet.
