Hakan Hardenberger at University of ChicagoHakan Hardenberger put on a SUPREME performance Oct. 21, at University of Chicago!
Hakan played with such authority and artistry, is was a real treat to experience.
My favorite piece of the night was Berio's Sequenza X. Hardenberger's style was incredibly unique, and his prowess on the horn left all in awe.
This man is not a mere technician, but a complete artist who's story-telling of sound is an inspiration for all to enjoy.
If you ever have the chance to hear him live, please do. You won't be dissappointed!!

I tend to shop online for his stuff. Some of it may be special order, especially his "On the Beach" recording. Hopefully that one is not out of print, but I simply don't know.
