Has anyone heard from Chris???I sent him an E-mail trying to get him to come to my house. I hope he got out of Slidell -- there is no levee there and Slidell might not be there after tomorrow evening.
Chris, if you see this check your e-mail and give me a call so I know you are okay. If you see this and you are in a shelter, you are still welcome at my house in Lafayette.

Concern for othersI am impressed. The concern that has become evident on this forum for one another is gratifying to experience. I sincerely hope that others on the forum are as concerned about our deep southern compatriots in Louisianna. I hope that we all pray for those in harms way. Our television just died, so, we don't know what is going on down there. We are leaving for England in a couple of weeks, so, we might not go out to buy a new one until we return.

Thanks for all the support guys, but I'm ok. I got out of Slidell last Saturday and went to my family's condo in Baton Rouge. My house suffered major damage and I am not sure when I'll be back. I am using a Baton Rouge library computer right now so I don't have much time. I ask that the moderators look over the forum until further notice. I appreciate the concern and hope everyone is ok. Be back as soon as possible(prob. not for a week or more). God bless. Chris
