Hello from the West MidlandsHello all,
Got back into playing about eight months ago after a twelve year lay off. I'd given up because I'd hit a brick wall with my playing and felt I would never reach the standard I was aiming for.......When I decided to take it out of the case once again I was determined to get as much information about how brass instruments worked to see if I could now overcome the problems I had faced back then, Found a brilliant teacher who was able to steer me in the right direction and spot the problems that needed correcting.................haven't looked back since..

West MidlandsI just returned to The States from your part of the U.K.I spent three days at Weston Park, staying at Penkridge. I have a good few friends near you, such as Mick Dawes in Wednesbury, who came up to Penkridge to join my wife and I for dinner on our first night there. We also went down to Birmingham for the big brass band concert at Symphony Hall. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Those cornetists were so good that I was tempted upon my return home to chuck all of my horns in the bin.
BTW, welcome.
