My name is Stacy Williams and I'm 36 years old. I live in Jackson,TN. I own Smooth Groove Music and play professionally around the west Tennessee area. I started life as a clarinet/sax player. After marching ww for two years in high school and knowing I would never do drum corps on ww, I switched to brass. I played mellophone for two years in high school and three years in college. I quit playing altogether after college. At 26, I picked up a used trumpet to mess around on. I've always been blessed with range and a BIG sound, so a friend invited me to audition for a local big band. I did and ended up playing lead with them for the next 7 years. I also play with a community band and church orchestra. I am finishing up my 2nd year playing lead soprano with the CorpsVets drum and bugle corps. I play Yamaha and Kanstul horns with Giardinelli mouthpieces.

Smooth Groove Music ... that is a cool name. i'm from northeast ark & have been to jackson a few times. when my son was very young, he enjoyed staying at the motel with the train cars, & visitng a casey jones site next door.
