Hi!Hello. My name's Dave, I'm 17 years old, and I'm an advancing trumpeteer from Madison, Wisconsin. I normally play the saxophone, but a few years ago I decided to try to learn the trumpet too, and I've been playing trumpet ever since.

whippersnapper!  you started younger than i did. we didn't have school band 'til i was in 9th grade...but i taught myself to play (starting in 7th grade) on a old horn my folks had at home. within a couple of years i was taking lessons from a former chicago symphony utility player.
i majored in music & still teach.

Really? A freshman in High School? Most kids start in 5th,4th,or even 3rd grade!
