I knew a guy who played one and he let me play it for awhile. Great horn. You really can't go wrong with them.

Contrary to my name I do not solely play Yamaha horns Very Happy
I have nonetheless owned a Yamaha Xeno 8445 C for use at Church. It's a great horn. It's a heavyweight horn with the response of a lightweight horn. It's really like nothing before it. Dark, rich tone that doesn't break up with louder dynamics. It really seems to open up as you go higher. All-around good playing/feeling horn. This would be my top choice. Although I've never played it, you'll probably want to look at the YTR-9445 C as well. I've heard only good things from it and if it's in your price range it's definately worht a look. Hope this helps you make your decision.
