The 1970's Nickel Plate Studio Cornet

I reckon I have Studios on the brain also. My final question is the playability of this late model cornet. Do not see many poping up on e-bay. It has a interesting lead pipe arrangement. Like what I have seen on old king master cornets. Would like any feed back and opinions of how well they played. A recent one sold at around $300.00 I believe on e-bay. Since many are not showing up. Maybe they are keepers like the olds recording, opera, and A6. :?:

I have an Olds Studio cornet...it's awesome. It's from the 50s, and is nickel plated. It's a great horn, although it's a little heavy to hold for long concerts (but very dent resistant, the only marks on this trumpet are scratches, which cover nearly the entire horn). I like it nearly as well as the Besson Meha, and the Bach Strad. a friend of mine has (who is a pro) didn't play as much better than the Olds than I thought it would.
