If you want to feel inferior, go to HTTP://WWW.choicerecordings.com/toc.htm There are sound clips from old turn of the century recordings of British bands, all featuring their solo cornetist. It is spectacular!!!

Has anyone clicked on the link found in the prior posting to listen to those fantastic cornetists of a century ago? If so, what was your opinion?

i'd heard the clarke tune before.
macintosh sounded best, probably better recording equipment.
