Why is that not everyone can improvise?? In jazz band I am the only one that can actually improvise and i have never been taught or anything everyone else seems to have a tough time with it. Why is it that not everyone can improvise? Isn't improvising like a skill that you can learn or does it have to come from deep with in certain people?

Improv is definately both-learnable skill and natural talent. You may have the natural talent, but need to refine it.
