What slide grease works the best for your trumpet? I use a mixture of lanolin and whell bearing grease and it works perfectly.

| I've always just used vaseline mixed with water and my slides have been fast. I've heard Zaja works well too. |

I use Holton slide grease, that pinkish/redish stuff. The stuff works well for me when I add a drop or 2 of Al Cass valve oil to it. And speaking of greasing I keep forgetting to grease my first slide... _________________ Not all who wander are lost |

I use Selmer slide grease. I works fine for me but I have never tried anything else.

I use Schilke!!! Hard to find, but worth it! _________________ "To be a teacher you need to be as good a performer as you can be: you'll have more to impart to your students musically." - John Haynie |

Herco works best for me. Yamaha's grease is pretty good too.
