Where does Mark Van Cleave rank as a pro player? I was recently playing in a concert with a fellow trumpeter and he was telling me that he had some of MVC's trumpet material to strengthen various aspects of playing and that most of it was so high above the staff that he could not even play it. Since I don't ever recall seeing his name even mentioned in this forum that struck me as odd because it seems that most of the pro players have been mentioned from time to time. Just curious.
